For the last 100 years, May 26th has been Frankie Manning's birthday.

As many of you know, his 100th birthday was celebrated throughout the world, culminating in a massive partyin New York City.

Following his 100th birthday, it's time to perpetuate Frankie's dream of spreading Lindy Hop across the world.  We will pay tribute to Frankie by marking his birthday, May 26th, as World Lindy Hop Day, celebrating Frankie as well as all of his peers, the SAvoy, big band swing, and the dance we love.

We're doing pretty good.

But I still some areas that aren't covered with Lindy Hop yet, so we have some more work to do.

Each year we will have a city that hosts the world in this celebration, both with a physical event as well as ways that they can unite Lindy Hoppers across the globe.
